Menexes Estate, owned by the Kypriotakis family, is located 20 kilometers south of the city of Heraklion and a short distance from the Minoan settlement at Vathypetro, where the oldest wine press (4,000 years old) of Minoan Crete was discovered. It lies within the O.P.A.P. (Appellation of Superior Quality) Archanes zone. The estate covers 2,000 acres, making it one of the largest estates in Crete.
