One Year After Their Founding, the Artisanal Greek Wineries Present Their First Wine Exhibition in Athens
One year after establishing their Association, the Artisanal Greek Wineries are organizing their first wine exhibition in Athens, featuring the participation of all member wineries.
Forty-three family-owned wineries — focused on high-quality raw materials and driven by a commitment to highlight the unique microclimate of their regions — come together with passion and love for the grape and for wine.
With a vision to promote Greek terroirs, grape varieties, and wines worldwide, they invite the Athens public, as well as wine and hospitality professionals, to discover small, distinctive, and noteworthy wineries that produce characterful wines, revive and evolve rare varieties, and passionately believe that the identity of a wine is inextricably linked to its place, its soil, and the personality of the people who live nearby.
“Exceptional wines from exceptional people” is the identity of the exhibition — an event that aims to become a tradition, bringing the unique family winemaking culture of Greece closer to the public each year.
The exhibition will take place on April 7 & 8 at The Hub Events (5 Alkminis St., Petralona).
