With a shared love for wine and boundless enthusiasm for the new year just begun, we are in the creative phase of preparing the 4th exhibition of the Association of Small Greek Winemakers (SMOE). SMOE is excited to welcome wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, friends, and supporters to a renewed event featuring a product exhibition, tasting events, and many surprises!
On February 12 and 13, 2023, small wineries from across Greece will come to Athens to showcase their exceptional and remarkable wines. Their unique products, crafted with a focus on high-quality raw materials and uncompromising standards, demonstrate that the identity of a wine is deeply connected to its region, the land, and the personality of the people who live close to it.
This year, the exhibition will take place at the Serafio, City of Athens, a unique 3,500-square-meter complex of Sports, Culture, and Innovation. It is a space with a rich history and modern public facilities that provide high-quality services to citizens, while also hosting select events in a pleasant environment at a central location in Athens that is easily accessible to visitors. Access to all areas is also provided for people with disabilities.
Visitors to the exhibition will once again have the opportunity to taste distinctive wines, speak with winemakers, and attend engaging discussions, seminars, and masterclasses on topics related to wine, primary production, Greek wine exports, and more.
