Zidianakis Garage Winery is a small, modern wine-production unit focused on crafting wines from indigenous grape varieties. Our winery is based in the village of Agies Paraskies Pediados, 20 km southeast of Heraklion, Crete. The wider area belongs to the Peza PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) zone and is known for its gentle terrain and fertile soils.
For decades, our family has followed the path paved by our grandparents. We cultivate our vineyards with great love and dedication—from harvest to bottling—paying close attention to every stage of winemaking. In 2021, we decided to take the initiative to go one step further: to apply the techniques and knowledge we have gained over the years, combine them with the latest technology, and create the small production unit Zidianakis Garage Winery. A compact space, yet fully equipped with all the modern technological means necessary for winemaking and monitoring the wine at every stage.
Nevertheless, as is well known, good wine is made in the vineyard. Throughout all phases of vineyard work, we apply environmentally friendly viticultural practices, aiming for a more sustainable approach to production and, ultimately, to the creation of exceptional wines.
